Energy audits

Weatherization Assessment & Air Sealing

Our weatherization assessments identify where your home is losing energy and where improvements will have the greatest impact. When conditions allow, we perform a blower door test to measure air leakage and locate unsealed gaps and openings.

We evaluate key areas including insulation levels, attic and basement conditions, common air leakage points, and overall thermal performance using tools such as infrared imaging.

Based on our findings, we provide recommendations and quotes for targeted air sealing and basement insulation upgrades, consistent with current Efficiency Maine programs. Improvements typically focus on areas such as rim joists, attic bypasses, and other accessible gaps using approved sealing materials.

You’ll receive a clear report outlining findings, recommended improvements, and practical next steps to improve comfort, efficiency, and long-term performance.

RADON AND WATER TESTING

We test for radon in the air, radon in the water, and the quality of the drinking water.

INSULATION

We provide targeted air sealing and basement insulation to reduce energy loss, improve comfort, and support long-term home performance. Common areas include rim joists, attic bypasses, and other accessible gaps, using approved materials and practical solutions.

MOLD TESTING

We perform mold inspections and air testing within homes or businesses. During this process, we look for conditions that are conducive to mold growth, and test accordingly.
